Project Coordinator for the European Alliance for Inclusive Entrepreneurship
The Inclusive Entrepreneurship Alliance is seeking a dynamic and results-driven coordinator to lead the Alliance’s efforts to promote and expand inclusive entrepreneurship across Europe. This role involves coordinating diverse activities, building partnerships, conducting research, engaging with EU institutions, and ensuring the successful execution of the Alliance’s initiatives. The Coordinator will also develop policy briefings, produce articles, and oversee communications strategies to amplify the Alliance’s impact. Your tasks

1. Expanding the Alliance
- Develop and execute strategies to recruit new members and partners.
- Build and maintain relationships with NGOs, businesses, and local governments
- Represent the Alliance at conferences, events, and networking opportunities to promote its goals.
2. Engaging with EU Institutions
- Advocate for policies and initiatives supporting inclusive entrepreneurship within EU frameworks.
- Build and maintain relationships with EU institutions, including the European Commission and Parliament.
- Prepare and present position papers and reports to influence decision-making.
3. Organizing Online Webinars and Events
- Identify and collaborate with expert speakers, panellists, and participants.
- Undertake occasional research on a given topic e.g. for new policy papers, project applications, or advocacy plans.
- Ensure engaging, high-quality content for attendees.
4. Communications
- Create and implement a communications strategy to raise awareness of the Alliance’s work.
- Manage social media, newsletters, and website updates to engage stakeholders
- Maintain consistent branding and messaging across platforms.
- Write articles, blogs, and thought leadership pieces to highlight the Alliance's mission and achievements.
- Develop engaging content for newsletters, reports, and external publications.
5. Research
- Conduct research on inclusive entrepreneurship trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to guide the Alliance’s strategies.
- Monitor and assess policy developments affecting entrepreneurship in Europe.
6. Managing EU Projects
- Oversee EU-funded projects, ensuring compliance with funding guidelines and achieving objectives.
- Draft project proposals, applications, and reports aligned with EU funding requirements.
- Monitor budgets, timelines, and deliverables to ensure success.
7. Creating Local Hubs
- Support the development of local hubs to drive inclusive entrepreneurship at a community level.
- Partner with regional stakeholders to design and implement localized programs.
- Facilitate collaboration and knowledge-sharing between local hubs.
Qualifications
- University degree in Political Science, European Studies, International Affairs, Economics, Journalism, Communication, Event Management, Marketing, or related fields
- Interest in European Affairs, especially business, sustainability and inclusion.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in project management, communication, advocacy, or similar areas
- Eligible to work in Belgium
IT skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office programmes.
- Ability to work with audio production software (e.g. Audacity, RØDE Connect) desirable
Interpersonal skills

- You can work both independently and in a team and are considerate of different cultural backgrounds.
- You can develop and articulate your own ideas.
- You can navigate stressful situations and can manage your time, work and deadlines etc.
Communication skills
- Excellent proficiency in English (fluent or native speaker).
- Clear, concise writing and proofreading techniques (English).
- Additional languages, especially French, are an asset but not a requirement.
