UNITEE at 2016 SME Assembly

The SME Assembly is the most significant event for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Europe. The conference takes place once a year during the European SME Week. Together with the network of SME Envoys, the assembly creates the governance structure of the Small Business Act.
The 2016 SME Assembly took place in Bratislava (Slovakia) on 23 – 25 November 2016, on the topic “From Start up to Scale up”.

UNITEE participated for the second year in a row to the event, together with many other stakeholders in the world of european entrepreneurship policy, such as Elżbieta Bieńkowska, European Commissioner for the Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs. UNITEE’s President, Mr Kumcu, held a speech on the importance of diversity to foster innovation and growth in the EU economy and on the process leading from startup.
