The Cultures United Festival took place on Friday, 5 June 2015, at the Esplanade of the European Parliament. We celebrated cultural diversity in Brussels and Europe. Our key message: New Europeans are an added-value to our society. Cultural diversity is fun and enriching.
Visitors had the chance to find out for themselves, by tasting traditional food from all over the world, as well as discover handcraft and art performances.
For the festival UNITEE collaborated with 14 communities: PromoteUkraine, Wissal (Tunisia), Indian Cultural Centre, Belgium-China Association, Kuumba-Maison Africaine Flamande, Federatie van Marokkaanse Verenigingen, Raad van de Afrikaanse Gemeenschappen in Europa/ Vlaanderen RVDAGE/vl vzw, BAKUSHINTA asbl (Congo), l’asbl Baobards (Senegal), Belgian Vietnamese Alliance BVA, Timlilit (Algeria), Beltud (Turkey) and Arte N’Ativa (Brazil).
